This study aims to examine the variables that affect the adaptation of new generation soldiers in military life, to propose Institutionalization Plan to introduce Military Social Welfare. For this purpose, this study organized questionnaires and carried out study and research. Among them, 328 copies were selected as final targets for analysis.
Analysis results of this study are as shown below.
First, for living issues of soldiers, economic concern recorded highest. Second, individual consultation (M=3.0677) is found to be most effective methods for solving problems in the military unit, followed by preventive education that focuses on prevention and resolution of problem. Third, with regard to necessity of introducing military social welfare, the more aveage of respondents were answered more higher. With regard to reason why it is required to introduce military social welfare, helping those in bad family environment was found to be the biggest cause. Forth, with regard to systematic plan of military social welfare, the need of improving the awareness of the Ministry of National Defense on social welfare was found to be highest.
With results of this study, requests of soldiers on military social welfare and degree of such request were identified. Introduction of professional military social welfare is expected to improve life quality of soldiers in the army.
