본 연구의 목적은 예비 영유아교사의 다중지능 프로파일 패턴을 분석하고 이러한 패턴이 시간의 흐름에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 수도권에 소재한 H대 학의 아동보육학과 재학생 80명을 대상으로 하여 문용린(2004)의 다중지능검사를 실시하였고, 음악지능, 신체-운동지능, 논리-수학지능, 공간지능, 언어지능, 대인관계지능, 자기이해지능, 자 연친화지능 등 8가지 지능의 프로파일을 분석하였다. 또한 연구대상자 80명 중에서 12명은 2 년 간격을 두고 반복측정한 후 차이검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 아동보육학과 재학생들은 대인관계지능과 자기이해 지능이 가장 높았던 반면에 자연친화 지능은 가장 낮았으며 학년 간 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 2년 간격 반복 측정한 결과에서도 서로 다른 시기에 측정한 두 개의 프로파일 패턴에 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 예비 영유아교사의 다중지능 프로파일 패턴 을 분석하고 시간의 흐름에 따른 변화양상을 밝힌 본 연구의 결과는 아동보육 실천에 참고가 될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
This study aims at analyzing pre-service early childhood teachers' multiple intelligence profile patterns and examining about how such patterns change over time. For this research aim, test for multiple intelligence by Moon Yong-Lin was conducted for 80 undergraduates of the Dept. of Child Care and Education, H University located at the Metropolitan area. 8 kinds of intelligence profiles were also analyzed including musical intelligence, bodily-kinetic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, spatial intelligence, linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence and naturalistic intelligence. Besides, as for 12 of 80 subjects, difference verification was performed after the repeated measure at an interval of 2 years. As the result, undergraduates of the Dept. of Child Care and Education revealed the highest in interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence and the lowest in naturalistic intelligence, showing no significant difference among grades. Repeated measure findings at an interval of 2 years also showed no significant difference between both profile patterns measured at a different time. This study analyzed pre-service early childhood teachers' multiple intelligence profile patterns and examined their change aspects over time. Therefore, findings of the present research have significance in that they provide basic data for practicing child care.
