This study aims at analyzing pre-service early childhood teachers' multiple intelligence profile
patterns and examining about how such patterns change over time. For this research aim, test for
multiple intelligence by Moon Yong-Lin was conducted for 80 undergraduates of the Dept. of Child
Care and Education, H University located at the Metropolitan area. 8 kinds of intelligence profiles
were also analyzed including musical intelligence, bodily-kinetic intelligence, logical-mathematical

and naturalistic intelligence. Besides, as for 12 of 80 subjects, difference verification was performed
after the repeated measure at an interval of 2 years. As the result, undergraduates of the Dept. of
Child Care and Education revealed the highest in interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence and the
lowest in naturalistic intelligence, showing no significant difference among grades. Repeated measure
findings at an interval of 2 years also showed no significant difference between both profile patterns
measured at a different time. This study analyzed pre-service early childhood teachers' multiple
intelligence profile patterns and examined their change aspects over time. Therefore, findings of the
present research have significance in that they provide basic data for practicing child care.
