이 연구의 목적은 다음 세대의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 교육자료 개발의 일환으로 에너 지 영수증을 개발하여 적용하는 것이다. 최근의 기후변화 현상은 우리에게 에너지 절약을 활성 화하여 온실가스를 줄여야 함을 시사하고 있다. 가정 부문의 온실가스 줄이기는 기술 혁신을 통한 온실가스 줄이기와 같이 엄청난 비용이 필요하지 않다. 그래서 적절한 교육 자료를 개발하여 건전 한 교육활동을 이용하면 큰 비용 없이 온실가스를 줄일 수 있다. 이번 연구에서는 전년 동월과 비 교한 에너지 사용량, 이산화탄소 발생량, 탄소나무계산 결과들을 명시한 교육 자료를 만들었다. 그리고 개발 자료 6개월 동안 투입한 결과, 열일곱 가정에서 6개월 동안 약 539 kwh 정도의 전기 사용량을 줄일 수 있었다. 소비자로 하여금 에너지 사용의 정도를 친밀한 정보로 제공하는 것은 온실가스를 줄이는데 긍정적 효과를 미친다.
The purpose of this study was to develop sustainable and educational materials using the energy bill that help reduce energy usage in each household. Recently, the worldwide climate change phenomena taught us a lesson how to save energy and to reduce greenhouse gases. It cost a tremendous amount of money to develop innovative technologies that help reduce green-house gases. However, it does not cost as much in reducing greenhouse gases in houses. Taking action based on the educational materials that used the energy bill, the energy consumers learned how they spend and save more energy this month of the year in comparison to the same month last year. The sustainable and educational materials using the energy bill reported the amount of emission of carbon dioxide to the energy consumers each month. Seventeen homes saved 539 kwh during 6 months when they utilized the sustainable and educational materials using the energy bill. User- friendly information about the energy usage helps energy consumers to save energy and to produce positive results about the green earth.
