본 연구의 목적은 2007 개정 초등학교 과학과 교과서의 기후 변화 관련 내용과 탐구활 동을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 3학년부터 6학년까지의 1학기와 2학기 과학교과서와 실험 관찰에서 기후변화와 관련된 내용을 추출하고, 이를 기후 변화 현상, 원인, 대응 지식, 기후 현 상에 대한 탐구, 기후 문제에 대한 해결, 기후에 대한 감수성과 배려, 기후 변화 대응의 실천 등의 범주로 분석하였다. 또한 교과서에 제시된 탐구활동 중에서 기후 변화와 관련된 활동을 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 과학 교과서에서 기후 변화 관련 내용은 3학년과 6학년에서 가장 많이 발견되었고, 교육과정상의 이유로 4학년 교과서에는 제시 되지 않았다. 둘째, 기후 변화 관련 탐구활동은 총 32개로 3학년 실험관찰에서 12개로 가장 많 이 제시하고 있으며, 탐구활동 유형으로는 실험 활동이 12개로 가장 많았다.
The purpose of this research analyze the climate change related content of 2,007 revision elementary school science and textbook and inquiry activities. For this, the content that it relates to the climate change in 1 term to 6 grade from 3 grade and 2 term science curriculum textbook and experiment observation was extracted. This was analyze with the category including the climate change phenomenon, cause, correspondence knowledge, exploratory about the phenomenon of climate, solution about the weather issue, susceptibility about the weather and consideration, practice of the climate change countermeasure, and etc. In addition, the acitivities relating to the climate change among the inquiry activities presented in the textbook was analyze. The primary research result is as follows. First, in the elementary school science textbook, the climate change related content was much the most discovered in 3 grade and 6 grade. The climate change was not presented in 4 grade textbooks in the reason in the course of education. Second, the climate change-related quest activity presented much as the dozen as the total of 32 s in 3 grade experiment observations. And the experimental acitivities were the most abundant as the dozen by the quest activity type.
