The purpose of this study was to find the influences of attachment between parents and children on interpersonal relations and self-efficacy of middle school students. Subjects were 319 boys and girls from five middle schools students from Y city. The results of this study were as follows: First, it was shown that the students have high-level attachment to their parents and especially to their mother. The higher the attachment is, the better interpersonal relations and self-efficacy they have. Second, there are significant positive correlations between interpersonal relations and the students\' attachment to fathers, mothers, and parents at every subordinate factor except alienation. Third, there are significant positive correlations between their self-efficacy and the students\' attachment to fathers, mothers, and parents at every subordinate factor except alienation. Therefore, we conclude that the higher the students\' attachment to their parents is, the higher their self-efficacy is. In particular, the students\' attachment to fathers are more closely related to their self-efficacy than their attachment to mothers.
