The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of a learning motivation program on the learned helplessness and learning concentration of middle school students\'. The subjects in this study were 142 middle school students\' in south Jeolla province. After a middle school were selected from that region, two classes each were selected from the schools, and the students in the two classes took tests on learned helplessness and learning concentration test. It\'s found that 48 students learned to be more helpless than the others, and out of them, 22 students who lagged behind in learning concentration were divided by sampling into an experimental group and a control group with 11 each. A learning motivation program was conducted after the same kinds of programs used were reconstructed to serve the purpose of the study. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the learning motivation program exerted a positive influence on lightening the learned helplessness of the middle school students\'. Second, the learning motivation program had a positive impact on bolstering the learning concentration of the middle school students\'. Finally, what implications the findings of the study had for school education was discussed.
