The purpose of this study is to explain the effects of the teachers' professional community on middle school students' mathematics achievement using a hierarchical linear model. The major research findings were as follow. The results show that the factors, such as family income, parents' final education, and parents expect the student performance, co-education school, the average SES, school size, school location have a significant effect on student mathematics achievement. Unlike previous studies, the teachers' professional community factors have a insignificant influence on student mathematics achievement. Apart from this, according to Teachers professional community model, shared responsibility have a positive effect on student mathematics achievement. However teachers' decision participation have a evil influence on student mathematics achievement. As described above, this study the teachers community different from previous studies of the other countries that does have a significant influence on students' mathematics achievement. However, among the teachers community factors, shared responsibility for student achievement have influence on students' mathematics achievement
