본 연구는 대학생활적응에 대한 봉사-학습의 효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 29명의 예비 여교사들을 통제집단(봉사-학습 참여하지 못한 집단)과 실험집단(봉사-학습 참여 집단)으로 나누고, 대학생활적응 척도를 4회에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 다층성장모형을 통해 분석한 결과에 따르면, 개인-정서 적응 및 사회 적응에 대한 봉사-학습의 효과는 유의하지 않았으나, 학업적응도와 대학환경 적응도에 대한 봉사-학습의 효과는 유의하였다. 비록 그 효과가 사후까지 지속적이지는 못하였으나, 예비 여교사들의 대학생활적응에 대한 봉사-학습의 효과가 본 연구를 통해 부분적으로 밝혀졌으므로, 봉사-학습 활동을 수정 및 보완하여 교원교육에 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of service-learning on the adjustment of female prospective teachers to college. 29 female prospective teachers participated in this study. This study was conducted using a pre-test, a middle-test, a post-test, and a follow-up test designed for an experimental group and a control group. Multi-level analysis using the growth model was conducted to analyze the effect of service-learning. The result of this study showed that directly after service-learning was completed, the academic adjustment and college environmental adjustment of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group while there was no significant difference in the social adjustment and emotional adjustment between experimental and control groups. These results indicate that service-learning might have partially positive influence on female prospective teachers' adjustment to college.
