The purpose of this study was to introduce a feminism for activating the advancement of female elementary principals and to search for the roles of female principals and the plans of advancement. The trends of feminism theories such as traditional feminism, post-modern feminism, and eco-feminism are examined . From the perspective of ecological views, leadership for performing the roles of female principals in elementary schools are also considered. The study focuses on the plan for activating the advancement of female elementary principals. In particular, after analyzing in-depth interviews, the leadership of female elementary principals are summarized into contextual, educational, and symbolic models of leadership. Idealistically schools should be prepared to improve systems for female solitary status or to overcome theenvironmental crisis circumstance, and also be ready for active policies for reflecting female professionalism and experiences or the systems for the advancement of female principals.
