이 연구는 지난 50년간 우리나라에서 이루어진 교육정책연구들을 수집하여 시기, 영역, 주제, 방법별로 그 경향과 특징을 조사 분석하고, 그 결과를 데이터베이스화하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 총 2,540건의 교육정책연구들이 대상자료로 수집되었으며, 이 중 963건이 1차 연구를 위해 조사 분석되었다. 자료는 일차적으로 교육인적자원부, 정부출연기관, 교직단체, 교육 관련 학회와 협의회, 대학부설연구소 등으로부터 수집하였고, 국회도서관, 중앙도서관, 대학도서관 등을 활용하기도 하였다. 연구 분석의 결과는 분석영역, 분석방법, 분석결과 등으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 분석영역은 학교제도, 학생선발, 교육과정정책, 장학정책, 교육시설 및 환경정책, 교육자치제도, 고등교육, 교육재정, 사립학교 정책, 평생교육정책, 유아교육정책, 직업교육정책, 특수교육정책, 교육개혁, 인적자원개발정책의 15개 영역으로 구분제시하였고, 분석방법으로는 분석 작업과 절차에 관한 내용을 중심으로, 분석 자료 목록 작성, 분석 양식 개발, 자료 분석, 데이터베이스 시스템 설계 등의 작업 단계를 구체적으로 제시하였다. 그리고 분석결과는 교육정책연구의 동향 분석과 연구 추진 실적으로 구분하여 제시하였다.
The study aims to presenting analysed results on the Korean educational policy for the DB construction, which is the first one of the third time researches. The research is focused on what distinctive features has been applied to the Korean educational policy chronologically and provincially, and also how the researches can use the analysed results of the above for the last 50 years properly. For the study, 963 cases have been analysed even though there were 2,540 researches collected from the National Assembly, Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development, the national research installation, several teaching associations and organizations and so on. This study also presents the analysed result according to the way of analysis and practical approaches. The former has been divided into 15 cases such as a school system, a selection for students, as educational progressive policy, a scholarship system and so on. There is also shown the way of analysis and its progress with the reports on its material list, its developments, the analysis for the data and the plan for the data base system. In addition, the result is composed of the remarkable trend of the research for the educational system and its past records due to the sacred area and the chronological division.
