We accomplished this study to help effective teaching and contribution of traditional folk play in the elementary school curriculums reviewing tradition and physical strength of each grades of elementary school phywical education. The results are following: 1.More comlicated and sophiscated movements are in higher grade, and folk play is being distributed in all grades. 2.From view of contribution of physical factor, Biseokchiki have been going for toward to increase studect\'s balance and harmony, Tooho do physical strength and balance, Rope skipping does physical strength, Kittling does physical strength, and spinning top does physical strength. 3. In the view point of succession, traditional folk play contarining cultural and national ccharacteristic, it has room at the common live. 4.It is necessary to teach traditional folk play because it affect harmony or intelligence, mental and physical strength. Therefore, elementary school instructo should undestand importance of traditional folk play to enhance it effetely.
