In order to elucidate the relationship between low visual acuity and encioronmental factors including the computer usage among school children, we measured the visual acuity of the 1347 elementary school children and analysed the date from questionnaire about life pattern pertaining to computer usage. The results were as follows; In genetic matter of eyesight, glasses wearde parents of the students were shown the low percentage among the abnormal weak-eyed students and higher grade students have more glasses-weared students. There was a tendency of gradual increase of low visual acuity with grage. The number of glasses wearer among the students of vision 0.5 or below(1,239) was 870(63.2%), of which the under-corrected cases 480(49.3&) were greater in number with the over corrected cases. In educational encironment factor which affeced to eyewight, eyesight were when their taking more time for reading in regulat classes or personal studying. There were many stuendts who have had habits with short distance from book and brightness in classroom and handwirting size of teach had and important effect to their eyesight.
