The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze transirions, trrendsm objuctives, contents, instruction and learning methods and evaluation of elementary school physical education curriculum between Korea and China.
Curriculums have been revised 7 times in Korea and 4 times in china according to the request and situational change of the times from ofter world war Ⅱ until the present. The direction of the reviwion of the curriculum in both countries places great importance on the improvement of the students\' personality and creativity . The structural systems of physical education curriculum are similar in both countres. The curricular contents of Korean 3rd and 4th grade consist of 4 domains and those of Korean 5th and 6th grade consist of 6 domanins. while the curricular contents of Chinese 1st and 2nd grade consist of 4 domains and those of Chinese 3rd to 6th grade consist of 8 domains. Korean students are evaluated in the 3 fields of motor skill. knowledge. physical fitness and motor skill.
