The purpose of this study was to examine the level of pathological gambling and mental health and to identify the problems caused by pathological gambling in participants of cyclerace. Methods: Data were collected from 154 participants of cyclerace using self-report questionnaire composed of demographic characteristics and two scales including gambling behavior scale and mental health questionnaire in the G Province. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, 撮?-test, Spearman’s rank correlation coefficients using the SPSS program. Results: The mean score for gambling behavior scale was 8.21, recreational gambling level and the prevalence of pathological gambling measured by KGBS in participants of cyclerace was 38.9%. There were significant differences in depression, anxiety, insomnia, self-harming behavior and difficulty of daily living according to the level of gambling behavior. Conclusion: In conclusion, to prevent pathological gambling of participants of cyclerace, it is necessary to develop intervention according to level of pathological gambling.
