The aim of this study was to investigate the contextual interference effect through the modification of parameters of the overall force in the generalized motor program(GMP) of the same condition. that is, the contextual interference effect of skill cariables according to the practice condition. The subjects were 18 boyw students, who had no experence about and were using their right hand (average age: 11.5). The experiment was designed into 2( blocked and random practice) x 6(trial block) to see the influence of the degree of the contextual interference(blocked and random practive) by the distance conditions (2.5m, 4.0m, 5.5m) in the golf putting on the motor performance and 10min. 24hour retention. The result of experiment showed that is the acquistion phase, blocked practive was more effective in learning that the random prative in the level of F(1.16) = 10.81, p<.001 among practive conditions, In the retention phase,on the contrary of the acquisition phase, the random practive was more effective in learning than the blocked practice in the level of effective in learning than the blocked practive in the level of F(1.8) = 15.12. p <.001 among practice conditions of 10min retention, ans this showed the characteristics of the contextual interference effect remarkably. but in the 24hour retention the contextual interference was not shown statistically.
