The purpose of this research is to look for the efficient improvement in conformity with the issue investigation of the
National Professional Baseball Player's Salary Contract System. In order to perform the research, Delphi technique was executed
that reaches a collective agreement after the panel's consultation process. A questionnaire was used as a research tool, and
Delphi study was executed by 32 panels' participation. Of Delphi Round, 2 rounds were in total executed, and the collected data
was interpreted in a median value and interquartile range. It was through this research that the following result was obtained.
Actually, it was indicated that such details as the qualification period and reward system of a free agent(FA) system, the
violation of pre-negotiation system, the minimum salary amount, annual salary adjustment system, Salary Appraisal Criteria, salary
negotiation culture should be improved for various issues of player's salary contract system. For the correct salary contract
system of players, it was proposed that such policies as the reduction of FA qualification period, the execution of player's
compensation rule in conformity with the execution of FA rating system, the abolition of pre-negotiation system, the regular
increase of minimum salary considering the inflation rate, the independent establishment of salary adjustment mechanism, the
introduction of salary calculation system in conformity with the role of appointment, the establishment of salary negotiation
culture through mutual respect should be executed.
