본 연구는 가족기능강화 프로그램(SFP)이 고등학생의 의사소통과 갈등해결 방식에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행 되었다. 이를 위해 경기도 Y시에 위치한 H고등학교 1학년 학생 중에서 실험집단 10명과 통제집단 10명을 연구대상으로 선정하 고 두 집단의 사전-사후 검사를 설계하였다. 실험집단에서는 4주간에 걸쳐 총 8회기로 구성된 SFP가 실시되었다. 실험집단의 청소년에게는 70분, 그 부모 및 가족에게는 각각 90분씩 프로그램이 실시되었으며 통제집단에는 아무런 처치가 이루어지지 않았 다. 검사 이후 각 집단별로 사전-사후 검사의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였고 이것을 근거로 집단 간 평균 차이의 유의성을 검증하 기 위해 공변량 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 프로그램의 효과의 지속성을 확인하기 위해 반복측정 및 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, SFP가 고등학생의 의사소통 능력에 미치는 효과 분석에서는 유의한 영향력이 없었지만, 고등학생의 갈등해결 방식 중 수동적 갈등완화 방식에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 프로그램 효과의 지속성을 검증하기 위한 추수검사에서 는 부정적인 결과를 얻었다. 이는 SFP가 단기적인 형식보다는 좀 더 지속적이고 장기적인 방식으로 적용될 필요성을 시사하고 있다.

영문초록

This study tries to verify the effect of the family strengthening program regarding communication and conflict solving style for the high school student. The experimental group of 12 families took part in the 4 weeks family strengthening program. The program designed to the twice a week session, with a total of 8 sessions. Communication and conflict solving style questionnaire were used for evaluating the effect of the family strengthening program. ANOVA for the covariant of pretest results, and ANCOVA as a repetitive pre-post-follow up measurement were conducted. The results are followings. First, there is no meaningful influence on communication skills for the high school student. Second, some effectiveness was found from the conflict solving style. Implications and suggestions are offered for the future research
