The purpose of this study is to analyze the partivipation attitude of game class based on a small group configuration way of elementary school students. The physical educations of Pureun elemenraty school were observed during seven weeks the secong semester in 2003 year. The qualitative research methods were employed and data were collected through various methods such as interviews and observations. Data were analyzed by using constant comparative methods and the trustworthiness of data was confirmed through member check, peer debrefing and triangulations. As a resulf four styles of student partivipation were categorized: \' enthusiastic players\' \' Donkihote players\' \' sightweer players\' and \' treacherousness players\' Enthusiastic players had high physical abilities and sports functions level. They partivipated in all processes of physical educations positively and recognized their sports abilities high. The form of the students partivipated in a mixing game was set up by the affection of a lot of factors and especially was strongly affected by the physical ability, character, interaction among the students, a smaill group form, a game type and sextual role. Physical ability was the main foctor deciding the students partivipation types. The students having high physical abilties were mostly Donkihote players and the students having low physical abilities were sightseer players. On the other hand, the treacherousness players had middle following physical abilities but they acted like students having low physical abilities because of the affection of other factors. There are four types of human charactier: independent introverted extroverted and cooperative type. Enthusiastic players were cooperative and Donkihote players were extroverted and independent . Sightseer players were independent and introverted and treacherousness players were independent. The interaion among the students affected the transference and change of partivipation attitude. Enthusiastic players had a lot of affirmative reactions likde encouraging and helping others, but Donkihote players had negative reactions like overation, bragging themselves and disregarding others. When it comes to sightseer players , the interaction of frequency itself was so low and treacherousness players had lots of neutral interaction like dregging an interest. As for the small group form. the preference was categorized by a partivipation type clearly. Enthusiastic players preferred homogeneous group but treacherousness players and Donkihote players preferred a heterogeneous group. Sightseer players choosed a preference group differently according to the situations.
