The purpose of this study is to see what education system of the U.K made their sports systemized earlier than other countries by investigating the education system of public schools in the united Kingdom and their ad hoc types of sport activity affect the modern and today physical education, and further to provide a philosophical basic data for policy drefting of Korea\'s physical education and social physical administration. For this purpose, this study focused on the education system and sport activities in the U.K for the systematization and a spread of U,K\'s sports between the 19th and the early 20th century . and following are the results. Firstly, owing to the effect of Industrial Revolution it was necessary to have a modernized education content as a part of education omprovement and the sports subject entered part of school curriculum, and it was the beginning of sports activities such as soccer, basting, and cricket, and interschool matches. Secondly, outgrowing the classic focused education of the nobility in old days. complying with the educational needs of newly orgamized middle class and those of change and reform, sprots could secure an official position in the education system of public schools. thirdly , three times a week, the day when there is no class, students are to partivipate sports activities to get the physical education as principles of social reatures such as loyalty, cooperation and ethics not by knowledge education but through physical activity and experience as well as to get a means of human education with the systematized education reform. Fourthly, new types of gentlemen were created through sports sublimating folk sports in a medium of culture educaion in society of middle class,and providing new educaion and leisure culture for the human fellows by establiching a regular sports curriculum. Fifthly, it was recognized that partivipation into a variety of sports activities is beneficial for the human beings as a way of human education, resulting in systematization of games and in a unity of rules, These heat and development of sports played a significant role not only in the English sports history but also in the world\'s sports history.
