A Study on Task Debelopment for Image Expansion in Expression Activity The purpose of this study is to develop tasks for image expansion in elementary school students\' expression activity. In detail, this researcher attempted to devise reliablem valid tasks throuth which elementary school students image their thoughts and express them through their own unique motions and physical activities. Based on results of the study, the researcher would make the following conclusions. First, elementary school students can make a physical expression of their emotion accurately by performing tasks which allow them to understand the concept of image and make substantial images in mind. Second, elemenraty school students can develop a variety of physical expression activities that they have not experienced before by implementing tasks involved with devices, games, language and music.
