본 연구의 목적은 한국 여성 노인의 적응적 나이 들어감의 과정을 실증적으로 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위 해 한국 여성 노인 10명을 인터뷰한 자료를 중심으로 근거 이론의 패러다임 분석을 실시하였으며, 중심 현상으로 ‘할 수 있는 한’이라는 개념이 도출되었다. 코딩을 통해 드러난 각 범주는 인과적 조건으로 ‘인 지로 지각하는 나이 들어감’, ‘몸으로 느껴지는 나이 들어감’이 있었고, 맥락으로는 ‘사회적 격변’, ‘자식 을 위해서’가 있었다. 중재 조건에는 ‘가치(의미)를 창조하며 살고 싶어’와 ‘다음세대에게 인정을 받고 싶 어’가, 전략에는 ‘신체적’, ‘정서적’, ‘영성적’ 전략이 있었다. 이를 통해 한국 여성 노인은 ‘현재에 대한 긍정’, ‘미래에 대한 긍정’으로 적응적 삶의 모습을 보여 주었다.
This research aims to positively search for the process of Korean female elders' adaptive aging. To this end, the grounded theory-bassd paradigm analysis was conducted on the interview results of 10 elders. The main phenomenon of `as much as' concept was discovered. Each category revealed through coding included `cognitively experiencing aging' and `physically feeling aging' and the contexts included `social transformation' and `for the sake of children." Intervention conditions included `hope to create value (meaning)' and `hope to be recognized in the next generation.' Strategies included physical, emotional and spiritual ones. Through this, Korean female elders showed adaptive ways of living with `positiveness to the present' and `positiveness to the future.' The first part discusses necessity for research and advance research, and later parts explains the analysis result of Korean female elders' aging process who showed adaptive features based on the grounded theory method.
