본 연구의 목적은 미술치료 임상 실습 현장에서 이루어지는 수퍼비전을 제공하는 현장 수퍼바이저 (on-site supervisor)가 어떤 자격 조건과 자질을 갖추고 어떤 역할을 감당해야 하는지를 구체적으로 탐색 하고 이를 통해 미술치료 임상 실습지에서 훈련생들에게 미술치료사로서 실무적인 수퍼비전을 제공할 수 있는 현장 수퍼바이저를 교육하고 양성하고자 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 최근 미술치료 전문가 양성의 발달 과정에서 그 수요가 증대하고 있는 임상실습 현장 수퍼비전(on-site supervision)의 필요성과 전문성을 재고하면서, 기본적으로 미술치료 수퍼비전에서 다루어야 할 내용과 평가 기준을 크게 세 영 역으로 정리해서 제시하였다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 미술치료 전공 실습생들을 훈련하는 과정에 참여하는 현장 수퍼바이저로서 인식하고 평가해야하는 내용들을 살펴봄으로써 국내에서 미술치료사 양성의 방식 이 대학원과 현장이 연계된 안정된 구조를 갖추고 그 전문성을 함양해 갈 수 있는 기반을 제안하고자 하였다. 이는 국내 미술치료가 양적 성장의 단계에서 질적 성숙을 도모하는 발달단계에서 필수적 역할 이 요구되는 전문성 있는 수퍼비전의 체계를 점검하고 임상현장에서 전문가로서 이미 활약하고 있는 미 술치료사들이 지속적으로 자기 성장과 성숙을 이루는 것뿐만 아니라 전문가로서 이 영역의 발전과 확장 에 기여하는 리더십을 갖추도록 촉구하는 바이다. 본 고찰의 내용은, 전문 미술치료 수퍼바이저들에게는 수퍼바이저로서 자신의 역량을 점검할 수 있는 평가 기준이자 동시에 자신과 수퍼비전 관계를 형성한 수퍼바이지들이 미술치료사로서 전문성을 향상하고 장래 현장 수퍼바이저로서 자질을 갖추어 역량을 발 휘하도록 돕는데 활용할 수 있는 평가 자료로서의 역할을 하리라 기대한다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the qualifications and responsibilities of professional art therapists as on-site supervisor in clinical setting of art therapy. It was to educate and train them as on-site supervisor, who can provide practical supervision for the art therapy intern students. It was first reviewed the three basic criteria, relational ability, therapeutic intervention ability, and artistic ability for the evaluation of art therapy supervision by reviewing the importance and expertise of it. Then the core evaluation criteria, general internship ability, art therapy internship ability, and the ability of utilizing supervision, for the art therapy intern students was proposed for the on-site supervisor to embrace the professionalism between the graduate curriculum and clinical practicum on-site by examining the frame of reference which has to be understood and presented during the supervision. It was to provide continuing education for the on-site supervisor with the tools to assess the art therapy intern students, which include the standards and essential contents of supervision to reflect their professional attitude and leadership.
