The purpose of this study is to investigate the recognition of how to perate the instruction pf physical education in elementary school in Daejeon.
The sample group were teachers who are sorking at schools in Deajeon. The questionaries were sent as random sample without consideration genderm carrer and age . The results were analyzed by statistics package program Spss Windows 12.0.
On the basis of this investigation, the conclusions were as follws.
1. Achievementof Physical Education objectives
In this investigation, no significant difference were shown by genderm career, age and ineractions with teachers\' gender-career nor gender-age. This result showe that all the elementary school teachers recognize affirmatively about Physical Education objectives. They are all in sympathy with the value and the necessity of Physical Education.
2. Leadership(Teachers\' Condect)
In this investigation, significant difference were shown by teachers\' career, age and interactions with teachers\' gender-career and also gender-age. This result showed that teachers \' leadership have a great influence on students\' activities who are well acquainted with Physical Education curriculum and have wide experience.
3. Physical Education Instrution Procedures, Methodsand Techniques
In this investigation significant difference were shown by teachers\' age. This result showed that Physical Education teachers have a great influence on general Physical Education instruction who have wide experience about detail manual books and skillfulness of Physical Education curriculum. this result is also related with the teachers\' career and age.
4. Students\' Conduct
In this investigation, significant difference was shown by gender and interactions with teachers\' gender-career. This result showed that students like physical education class and they prefer male teacher to female teacher. They also prefer teachers who have wide experience about Physical Education curriculum.
5. Safety and Healthful Environment
In this investigation significant difference was shown by gender, age and interactions with teachers\' gender-age. Teachers are all in wympathy with inferior physical facilities. Esperically this result represents that male teachers havehigher recognition than female teachers do.
