The objective of this study is to interchange make a united effort for the revision of Physical Education Curriculum for elementary School with respect to the curriculum transition administration, objectives, contents, evaluation of elementary school physical education curriculum for China elementary school. Follwing conclusions were drawn based on such a analysis : 1. Physical education curriculum transition of Chinese elementary school is advanced that it is changed from socialistic style to democratic. gradually. 2. Lesson scheduling and administration for physical education In China, two hours per week are assigned to the first and the second-grade, and three hours are assigned to the students from third grade to sixth grade. 3. The objectives of physical education 1) The objectives of physical education is divided into comprehensive, subordinate object and object for each grade. The Chinese objectives are present more details than that of Korea. 2) The main purpose of Chinese physical education bringing up a person for the communist party and establishing socialism than the whole man. 4. Contents of physical education 1) Physical education curriculum for elementary of Chinese is beginning at the first grade. 2) The Chinese physical education curriculum for the first and the second grade is composed of sports, basic knowledge for hygiene, basic movement, game, rhythm and dancing activity. And curriculum for the students from third grade to sixth grade includes sports, basic knowledge of hygiene, game, rhythm and dancing activity, gymnastics, ping-pong and small size ball game, traditional athletics, and fitness activity. 3) Ultimately Chinese curriculum is composed of contents for the development of an individual and bringing up a person for the communist party and establishing socialism. 5. Evaluation of Physical Education 1) Purpose of evaluation : The purpose of Chinese physical education evaluation is to decide promotion to a higher grade, graduation and entrance into a school of higher grade admission. 2) Method of evaluation : And the Chinese physical education evaluation has a point of reference to attention, attitude, various kind of fitness, sports ability and fitness grades of the state standard. 6. The Chinese physical education curriculum is composed of socialistic matters, but they have been changed to the developing curriculum as advanced nations that is compared with the past.
