The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of MeFOT-based motor activities on young
children's motor skills. For the purpose, this researcher raised the following research questions.
First, what effects do MeFOT-based motion activities have on young children's motor skills ? Is
there any difference in those effects according to young children's gender ?
To get answers to these questions, the researcher surveyed 60 children fully aged five, who
attend H kindergarten in Busan and want to participate in MeFOT-based motion activities, and
conducted an experiment after splitting the group into two groups; thirty of experimental group
and thirty of control group. For the survey, more specifically, those activities were used as the
experimental device.
The findings of the study can be summarized as follows.
First, MeFOT-based motion activities were having not significant but just a little influences on
young children's motor skills. However, it seemed that those activities may significantly affect a
sub-area of the skills, that is, muscular strength.
