The main purpose of this study was to investigate the factor of study skills and to find differences among three grades levels of Elementary School. The Study Skills Program which was developed on theoretical organization and actual experience was consisted of five lower programs; self-management skills, class-participation skills, assignment solving skills, test-taking skills, and information processing skills. At the same time pupil\'s work book and teacher\'s manual was developed to assist learning the program.
The subjects of this study were sampled from three classes at the fourth year grade, fifth grade and the sixth year grade in a certain elementary school in Pusan, Korea.
The data was analyzed by MANOVA, t-test. The study seeks to answer the following problems.
1) Are there some effects in Study Skills Program Training on fourth grade?
2) Are there some effects in Study Skills Program Training on fifth grade?
3) Are there some effects in Study Skills Program Training on sixth grade?
The findings of this study were as follows;
1) There are significant effects in Study Skills Program Training on fourth grade.
2) There are significant effects in Study Skills Program Training on fifth grade.
3) There are significant effects in Study Skills Program Training on sixth grade.
In conclusion, This findings suggest that the systemetic using of particular study skills were responsible for the success of elementary school students. It is necessary to encourage students to use study skills more.
