Meta-education is a mechanism of fostering the development of education by its own capacity. It is presumed to be activated wherever life is dominated by education as a form of life. However, this theoretical presumption needs to be confirmed by concrete cases. This research focused on revealing the process of meta-education between teachers in a school where the artistically gifted education system was introduced. Contrary to our expectation, it is not easy to find a pattern of educative life at school because of the conflicts among various values in mundane realm. Also, the gifted education system has been considered only in the perspective of early excavating and nurturing the gifted students and never been standing for the concerns of teachers. Therefore, this research tried to reveal the case of revitalizing meta-education, which helps teachers to overcome the ritual attitude at school and self-confirm the intrinsic value and the reality of education. Surprisingly, it was when a problematic situation was struck upon teachers due to the newly adopted system of gifted education. In addition, this study showed the passion of descending education of teachers could not been recognized because of the pressure of uniformal school administration.
