This study is an attempt to show that education is one of the essential constituents of primordial human nature. Human being can be defined as Being-in-the World or Being-in-the Truth. Being-in-the Truth is realized as unique way of bing when human being participates in the educational activities. This study tries to derive the archetype of education from this human nature as Being-in-the Truth. The archetype of education is described and explained by the new educational concepts such as Haksiseup(學時習), Hoihwa(誨化), and Esuk(異熟). Modifications of education come from the archetype of education, and the former can be justified on the basis of the latter. This study reinterprets two educational concepts, learning disability and teaching profession, to show that modifications of education start to fall into the mis-educative and dehumanizing thoughts or activities as soon as they are separated from their ground, the archetype of education. This study suggests that educational practice and theory have to be founded on the archetypal education as an essential constituent of human nature.
