Thisstudyestimatedthechangeinthedifferentiationofinterestandthedegreeofcongruencein
the youth according to the time, and examined the factors thataffectthe individualdifferences.
Relatedfactorsofthechanges,basedonthepreviousstudies,focusedonthegender,ageofthefirst
measurement,self-esteem,andfosteringenvironment.Forthepurposeofthisstudy,multi-levelmodel
wasappliedtoverifythechangeofthedifferentiationintime.Also,itsearchedfortherelativityof
thedifferentiationofinterestandthedegreeofcongruence,andlookedatthechangepatternastime
goes.According to the resultofthe analysis, first, the differentiation ofinterestwas found to
decreasein generalastimegoes.Theinitialvalueofthedifferentiation ofinterestandtheratioof
change came outto be differentaccording to the gender, age, and the self-esteem.Thatis,the
female with older age has higher initial value of the differentiation of interest in the first
measurementthan the male, and has a relatively slowerdifferentiation speed. On the otherhand,
personwithahigherself-esteem hasapositiveeffectonthedifferentiationofinterestasthenumber
ofmeasurementincreases.Andthedifferentiationofinterestandthedegreeofcongruencecameout
tohaveastaticrelativity.Thatis,asthedifferentiationincreases,thedegreeofcongruencewiththe
desiredwork environmentalsoincreased.Asthedifferentiation ofinterestproceedswell,itbecomes
easier to selecta desired job thatsuits himselforherself, and the expectation for achieving it
increasesaswell.Therefore,ifthevariousfactorsofthedifferentiation ofinterestarefound,they
mayprovideimplicationsforcareercounseling.
