The objective of this study is to analyze the influencing advocacy attitude of social welfare student. The data was collected and analyzed from 415 social welfare students in Daegu. The data was analyzed with the descriptive analysis, pearson\'s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 14.0. In this study, the factors influencing advocacy attitude was divided into four dimension: 1)General Background including sex, grade, volunteer experience, job experience, 2)Personal Background including self-efficacy and assertiveness, 3)Social work Values including social value and personal value, 4)Attitudes towards social welfare including justification of social work functions, preference of social welfare principles, responsible for Welfare costs, responsible for social welfare service supply, extension of welfare expenditure. The major finding of this study as follows: First, advocacy attitude of social welfare students is quite high with the mean score of 4.23(out of 6). Second, the factors influencing advocacy attitude are self efficacy(ß=.161), Social Value(ß=.312) and Personal Value(ß=.204) of social welfare, justification of social work functions in Social worker\'s attitudes towards social welfare(ß=.098). On the basis of the results, some suggestions on the education of the social welfare were presented. This study presented the factors influencing advocacy attitude of social welfare students, and afterwards, it will contribute to the exploration of the strategies for improving the education of social welfare.
