In this study, we proposed the EXSPRT-based adaptive testing systems for Mathematics
Item. We selected EXSPRT-I type among many computerized adaptive test(SPRT,
EXSPRT, and IRT) to embody an evaluating system, then made the most competent
system to effectively evaluate the testee\'s level with minimum use of questions, by picking
up the most suitable questions to the testee\'s level after figuring the usefulness of each
question according to testee\'s response, considering its difficulty and discrimination. When
compared to the paper-based pre-test, it presented a significant difference in the number of
questions being used and time spent in the test, though the ratio of successful applicants
was similar, showing 72.58%, 74.31% respectively.
