The terrain of curriculum studies is undergoing important changes. In curriculum design, there are many changes focusing on learner s construction of meaning. We generally speak the new methods for reinventing school curriculum as key engine. This article examined the methods of curriculum development through narrative construction of knowledge. According to Bruner, narrative construction of knowledge influenced the mode of curriculum development. Narrative refers to the mode of thinking, structure for organizing our knowledge, and a vehicle in the process of education. Traditionally, school knowledge is provided by specialist. Then teachers mainly give certain contents to students for delivering curricular contents. But current of schooling have been changed to narrative turn. We should approach to knowledge construction with narrative mode of thinking and story making. Curriculum development aims at educational objectives, contents, teaching methods, and educational assessment following the these narrative tints. In this study, we have explored the direction of curriculum development through narrative construction of knowledge. Research methods we adopted are literature review and conceptual analysis. According to the result of this study, we should pay attention to the narrative turn and its applicative agenda in school curriculum development.
