Objective : The purpose of this study is to examine the trends of domestic occupational therapy research related to residential environment through literature review published in Korea for the last 10 years. Method : Through the database of academic research information service(RISS) provided by KERIS and database of DBpia, the keywords occupational therapy , residential environment , home environment , living environment , environment modification to search for articles. A total of 12 articles were selected from 2007 to 2017. Result : From 2007 to 2017, research on domestic occupational therapy related to less than 3 residential environments was conducted every year, and a total of five conferences published residential environment related occupational therapy research. There were research items such as evaluation tool, design preference for residential environment, improvement of residential environment, demand for improvement of residential environment and universal design. Most of articles were about the demand for improvement of residential environment. The study subjects were mainly the disabled and the elderly. According to the results of research method, researches were the most common. Conclusion : It is expected that the research trend of domestic occupational therapy related to residential environment will be utilized as basic data of occupational therapy research for improvement of residential environment.
