This study is to identify the factors affecting the treatment effects in patients with chronic bronchitis in the middle area of South Korea. Data were surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 134 patients who had visited a general hospital located in Middle area from January 16 to February 27, 2017. The results were as follows. Firstly, about the level of education, 28.4% of the case group over college degrees was significantly lower than control group of 35.8%(X2=7.18, p<.05). Secondly, in case of a good sleep, the odds ratio was 1.71 times. It showed that 28.4% of the case group was significantly lower than the 40.3% of the control group(OR=1.71 95% Cl=1.48-7.35). Thirdly, in the case of radish consumption, the case group(62.7%) which rarely eat radishes showed 1.28 times a statistically significant higher rate than control group(56.7%) which rarely eat radish(OR=1.28, 95% Cl=1.76-5.92). In conclusion, to increase treatment effects in patients with chronic bronchitis, we need to develop an intervention program to change their health habits.
