This research aims to shed lights on the role of authentic leadership within the organization in addition to the reovery of the trust and business ethics in the global business contexts. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively assess the effectiveness of authentic leadership using meta-analysis techniques. We expect the impact of authentic leadership on the development of follower. From the perspective of the evidence-based management(EBM), we conduct meta analysis of authentic leadership and positive psychological capital, psychological well-being, and organizational commitment with the systemic literature review. With the systemic literature reviews, for the recollection of previous empirical research studies, we selected a number of papers dealing with the relationship between authentic leadership and follower development: positive psychological capital, psychological well-being, and organizational commitment. There are scholarly databases such as Google scalars and academic research information services like Comunity of Scholar, DB PIA, KISS, OJT). As a result of the meta analysis using CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis) ver. 3.0, there is a positive consistency(+) of the effect sizes in all the variables: an average effect size of 0.549(95%CI: 0.429~0.668) in the relationship between authentic leadership and positive psychological capital, the mean effect size of authentic leadership and psychological well-being was 0.490(95%CI: 0.238~0.743), the mean effect size of authentic leadership and organizational commitment was 0.563(95%CI: 0.469~0.658), statistically significant. The effect of the authentic leadership on organizational commitment is relatively larger, as the effect size of all variables is over 0.50, which is a significant effect of the criteria proposed by Cohen(1988). Based on the results of the research, it implies that followers’ and organizational effectiveness could be enhanced by the development and exertions of the authentic leadership
