이 연구는 특수교육전공 대학생의 정서 지능과 애착 유형의 특징을 밝히고, 이들의 애착 유형이 정서 지능을 예측할 수 있는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 대상은 유아특수교육, 초등특수교육, 중등특수교육을 전공하고 있는 대학생 92명이며, 이들에게 관계척도 질문지(Relationship Scales Questionnaire: RSQ)와 정서 지능 질문지를 각각 실시한 후 통계적인 특징을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다, 첫째, 특수교육 전공 대학생의 정서 지능은 하위 영역(자기 정서 파악, 타인 정서 파악, 정서 사용, 정서 조절)의 수준이 모두 비슷하지만, 애착 유형은 안정, 두려움 애착, 의존, 거부의 순으로 높다. 둘째, 정서 지능 요인과 애착 유형은 관련이 있다. 안정은 타인에 대한 정서 파악․정서의 사용․정서 조절과 관련되어 있고, 거부는 정서 사용과 관련되어 있다. 또 의존은 정서 사용․정서 조절과 관련이 있고, 두려움은 자기 정서 파악․타인 정서 파악․정서 사용․정서 조절과 모두 관련되어 있다. 셋째, 정서 지능 요인에 의해 애착 유형을 예언할 수 있다. 안정은 자기 정서 파악․타인 정서 파악․정서 사용․정서 조절의 영향을 받으며, 거부는 자기 정서 파악․타인 정서 파악․정서 사용․정서 조절의 영향을 받으며, 의존은 자기 정서 파악․정서 사용․정서 조절이며, 두려움의 영향을 받는다.
The purpose of this study is analyze of characteristics of emotional intelligence and attachment styles, and investigate to the relationship between emotional intelligence factors and attachment styles of university students majoring special education. For this purpose, 92 university students in Gwangju and Cheonan who majored in special education. Instruments were emotional intelligence scale and Relationship Scales Questionnaire(RSQ). Multiple regression and Pearson's r were used for data analysis. The results of the study were as follows: First, the significant different between emotional intelligence factor(aware of own emotions, aware of others emotions, knowledge about emotions, management of emotions) was absence. Second, emotional intelligence factors were positively correlated to attachment styles. Third, the attachment styles of university students majored in special education could be predicted by emotional intelligence factors.
