The purpose of this study is to grasp the increasing experience of mentoring activities for international students in Korea. To accomplish this goal, I conducted in-depth interviews with mentoring program participants at I University in Incheon. Bachelor s degree courses in the mentoring program 14 students are enrolled in a variety of foreign nationalities. All 14 of them are studying in Korea with D2 visa (studying abroad). To summarize the results of the study, first, foreign students felt embarrassed by the presentation style and the way of teaching Korean based on teamwork. Second, foreign students have had difficulty in learning how to study dissertation, academic writing, grammar, etc. when they first started their studies. Third, foreign students were having difficulty in studying because of lack of Korean ability to participate in writing and discussion in class. I was confident that this difficulty was gained through a mentoring program called Skola Special , and I was able to confirm that it was helpful to finish the semester. We hope that these mentoring programs will continue to provide learning, emotional and career support to international students who have difficulty adapting to life in Korea.
