Today’s innovation activities are gradually changing from technology-push innovation to market-pull innovation. Therefore, it is important for firms to understand consumers’ needs and demand, so open innovation that uses external ideas is emphasized. This study suggests the ‘online demand survey’ service that can reflect consumers’ opinion actively through crowd sourcing. A pilot service was provided within an online platform called ‘Idea Maru’, and we applied some of gamification factors to encourage the participation of members. As a result of the service, 35 firms registered their demand surveys and were able to collect opinions form many members. The service of this study is meaningful in that it freely shares opinions among members and supports open innovation of firms. In order to further promote the participation of members, it is necessary to continuously improve the method of selecting excellent opinions in the future.
