이 연구는 유아들을 위한 음악교육 프로그램으로서 놀이적인 음악감상을 제안하고자 하였다. 즉, 고전음악의 주제 선율을 활용하여 노래부르기, 악기연주, 동작활동 등 놀이를 결합한 음악감상 방법이 고전음악에 대한 선호, 주제 선율 인식, 그리고 창의성에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구는 K소재 유치원 두 곳에서 만 5세반 유아를 대상으로 각각 실험그룹 30명, 통제그룹 30명, 총 60명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구과정은 사전검사, 실험, 사후검사의 단계로 진행되었다. 실험은 2009년 5월 11일부터 2009년 6월 20일까지 총 12회의 음악감상을 하였으며 사전과 사후에 각 음악에 대한 선호, 주제 선율 인식, 음악적 창의성을 조사하여 점수를 비교하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 놀이적 음악감상을 한 이후 고전음악에 대한 선호점수는 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였다. 둘째, 놀이적 음악감상을 한 이후 주제 선율 인식 점수는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었으며 마지막으로 놀이적 음악감상을 한 이후 음악적 창의성도 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of classical music listening program for younger children on their music preference, recognition of the main melody and musical creativity. The classical music listening program used in this study utilized various musical experiences such as singing, playing, composing and moving to music. The subjects were 60 preschoolers in Kyong-gi Province. The groups were divided into the two : the experimental group and the control group, which consisted of 30 children each. From May 11 to June 20, subjects in the experimental group participated in music listening program with play for 12 sessions while subjects in the control group participated in music listening program without utilizing various musical experiences. The results were as follows. First, there was a significant difference between the two groups in preference and the main melody recognition.
