The purpose of this study was to illustrate the teaching status and recognition of the blind school teachers toward in service education for the blind school teachers. 272 teachers of the twelve schools for the blind students were participated for this study. One way Anova was utilized for this study. The results of this study were that: (a) communication ability, making rapport, and the characteristics of the blind students were developed well, however teaching subjects and technological support ability were needed to teach the blind students; (b) more experiences to teach the blind students, more knowledge and skills to teach the blind students; (c) the teachers wanted the in service program for blind school teachers; and (d) according to related variables such as teaching experiences, sex, the level of the schools, and the type of the schools were not important factors. Therefore this study concluded that the in service program for blind school teachers has to operate as soon as possible.
