이 연구의 목적은 시각장애학교 중등부 학생의 체육수업 걱정거리를 분석하여 보다 효율적이고 효과적인 수업방법을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 전국 12개 시각장애학교 중․고등학생 159명을 대상으로 성별, 학교급별, 시력정도별, 시각장애 발생시기별로 배경변인을 설정하였다. 설문지의 구성은 4개 영역으로 수업준비 6문항, 신체적 부담 5문항, 평가부담 4문항, 수업내용 6문항 등으로 총 21문항으로 구성하였다. 이를 바탕으로 얻어진 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애학교 중등부 학생의 체육수업 걱정수준은 성별, 학교급별, 시력정도별, 장애 발생시기별 등의 배경변인별 모두 수업준비와 수업내용은 보통이하이며, 신체적 문제와 평가부담은 보통수준이었다. 둘째, 시각장애학교 중등부 학생의 배경변인별 양 집단 간의 차이는 성별은 수업준비, 신체적 문제, 평가부담, 수업내용에 대해 남녀학생 모두 차이가 없었으며, 학교급별은 수업준비와 신체적 문제는 고등학생이 중학학생보다 높았으며, 평가부담, 수업내용에서는 중․고등학생 모두 차이가 없었다. 시력정도별은 신체적 문제, 수업내용은 맹학생이 저시력학생보다 높았으며, 수업준비, 평가부담은 맹학생과 저시력학생 모두 차이가 없었다. 장애 발생시기별은 수업준비, 신체적 문제, 평가부담, 수업내용에서 선천성과 후천성 시각장애학생 모두 차이가 없었다.
This study was done to research more efficient and effective class methods by means of analyzing physical education worries in secondary school students with visual impairment. The objects are 159 students in secondary school and the backgrounds were established according to genders, school levels, the offspring time levels. The questionnaires comprised totally 21 items, of which are 6 items of class preparations, 5 items of physical burdens, 4 items of appraisal burdens and 6 items of class contents. The summary is as follows. First, the worry levels of students with visual impairments in secondary schools for the visual impairments were totally under the middle levels in the area of class preparations, class contents, which consist of genders, school classes, visual acuity levels, the offspring times of impairments and so forth. Second, in the area of differences among groups, there is no difference according to the backgrounds of students with visual impairments in middle school for the visual impairments, concerning class preparations, physical problems, appraisal burdens and class preparations, there is totally no difference between girl students and boy students and in the area of school levels, according to class preparations and physical problems, senior high school students are higher than middle school students in the area of appraisal burdens, class contents there is no difference between middle school students and senior high school students. In the area of visual acuity levels according to physical problems, class contents, blinded students are higher than low vision students, according to class preparation and appraisal burdens there is no difference between blinded students and low vision students. In the area of handicaps offspring time, according to class preparations, physical problems, appraisal burdens, class contents, there is no difference between congenitally blinded students and acquired blinded students.
