This study analyzes the job satisfaction and the teacher satisfaction of the special class teachers to provide the basic data for the solutions that allow for a more active and creative participation in the educational activities and to promote an improvement of the quality of the special education. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the background variables, such as sex, teaching experience, working area, education and degrees to analyze the teacher and job satisfaction characteristics and the relationship between them for the special education teachers. Based on these, the teacher satisfaction and job satisfaction characteristics of the special education teachers were analyzed t-test and one-way ANOVA as well as the Scheffe post-test and to find the relationship between the job satisfaction and the teach satisfaction, the lower factors of the job satisfaction and the teacher satisfaction were analyzed with the Pearson related factors. The summary of this study are as follows. First, the teacher satisfaction of the special education teachers did not differ in sex and the school degrees but the teachers with more experience in a larger area who graduated from the graduate school showed higher teacher satisfaction. Second, the job satisfaction of the special education teachers showed no difference in the sex and the school degrees but the teachers with more experience, in a larger area who went to a graduate school working in the kindergartens or the elementary schools showed higher teacher satisfaction.
