이 연구에서는 초등학교 통합학급 담임교사 배정 시 고려되는 요인을 알아보고, 통합학급 담임교사의 요건에 대해 초등학교의 관리자, 통합학급 담임교사, 학부모 집단이 각각 어떠한 인식을 하고 있는지를 알아보았다. 설문자료 분석 결과, 첫째, 이상적인 통합학급 담임교사 요건으로 학교 관리자는 교육경력을 가장 우선시한 반면, 통합학급 담임교사와 장애학생 학부모는 학부모와 교사와의 긍정적인 관계 유지를 가장 중요한 항목으로 지적했다. 둘째, 통합학급 담임교사를 배정할 때 학교 관리자들이 중요하게 고려한 요인은 장애아동에 대한 이해와 태도, 교사의 열정과 통합교육 경력, 교사의 희망 등이었다. 셋째, 통합학급 담임교사에 대한 만족도는 학교 관리자와 학부모 집단이 비슷했지만, 통합학급 담임교사 자신들의 만족도는 두 집단보다 낮았다. 넷째, 학교 관리자와 학부모들의 통합교사 역할에 대한 만족도는 통합교사들이 통합학급 배정을 자원했는지 여부에 따라 다르지 않았다.
The purpose of this study was to examine teachers' qualifications that school administrators consider when they assigned inclusive classroom teachers, and the degree of satisfaction of parents, classroom teachers, and administrators about inclusive classroom teachers' roles. The study findings were as follow: First, the school administrators indicated teaching experience as the most important factor, while the teachers and the parents picked positive relationship between each other. Second, the school administrators considered importantly teachers' attitude toward children with disabilities, teachers' passion and inclusive teaching experience when they assigned inclusive classroom teachers. Third, the degree of satisfaction of the classroom teachers about their roles in inclusive classrooms were relatively lower than those of the parents and the school administrators. Fourth, the degrees of satisfaction of the administrators and the parents on the inclusive classroom teachers' roles were not different by whether the teachers volunteered their roles or not.
