This study aims to research the effects of disability awareness for young children with disabilities and perspective-taking ability on Experienced activities to disabilities in typically developed young children. The subjects of this study were 60 5-year-old young children and a total of 16 sessions were conducted for eight weeks. The instruments of disability awareness used in this study consisted of the contact with disabled peer group and interaction with disabled peer group, the ability of disabled peer group, and the fear of disability. On the other hand, the instruments of perspective-taking ability included cognitive perspective-taking and affective perspective-taking. Finally the following results were obtained.
First, it was discovered that the experimental group participating in experienced activities to disabilities had a significantly higher score than the comparison group, and the comparison group had a significant higher score than the control group in disability awareness.
Second, it was found that the experimental group participating in experienced activities to disabilities had a significantly higher score than the comparison group, and the comparison group had a significant higher score than the control group in perspective-taking ability.
