본 고찰에서는 재난에 대한 심리학적 개입이라는 제목 하에서 재난 상황에서의 심리적 반응과 대처, 재난 상황에서 효과적인 심리학적 개입, 재난 심리 교육 실태 및 재난 심리 연구 방법론에 대해 살펴보았다. 고찰 결과 다음의 결론이 제시되었다. 먼저 재난 상황에서 요구되는 심리학적 접근은 기존의 전통적 개입과는 차별된다. 전문가 양성의 측면에서 재난이라는 고유 특성에 맞는 대학원 교육 과정이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 또한 연구 측면에서도 재난이라는 특수 상황에 적절한 통합적 연구 방법이 적용되어야 할 것이다. 외국의 재난 심리학 현황과 교육 체계 및 최근 연구에 대한 고찰은 국내 재난 심리학의 토대를 마련하는데 중요한 정보가 될 것으로 판단된다.
This review explored the psychological response and coping, effective psychologcial intervention, current education for the disaster psychology and reseach methodology in the field of Disaster. As a results, the following was suggested. Firstly, the psychological intervention needed in the disaster situation is different from the traditional intervention. So, it is required that the graduate school curriculum for expert who will work in disaster situation is prepared. Also, in the aspect of research, it is necessary that the integrated methodology proper for unique disaster situation is applied. Keywords：Disaster, Psychological Intervention, Psychological therapy
