This review explored the general characteristics and recent research findings about Asperger Syndrome. There were AS's developmental features, core characteristics and recent opinions about the diagnostic criteria as well as temporary applicable strategies in the current korean situation. Finally based on the current research findings, the integrated opinion about the effective intervention strategies for AS was suggested. It is sure that AS would be the one of the very attractive therapeutic object for the child therapist. Since more researches and clinical validation is necessary in this field, researcher's attention and endeavor should be asked.
