본 연구는 장애인의 사회통합에 경제활동참여, 사회적 지지, 장애정체감, 일상생활 차별경험이 어 떻게 영향을 미치고 있는지를 살펴 본 것이다. 연구대상은 전국의 20세 이상 성인장애인 531명이다. 분석결과, 사회적 지지와 장애정체감은 경제활동 참여와 사회통합 간 경로에서 각각 부분매개변수로 작용하는 것으로, 일상생활 차별경험은 경제활동참여와 사회통합 간 경로에서 조절효과를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 장애인 자립생활의 기본전제인 사회통합을 위한 사회적 노력은 다양한 수준 에서 이루어져야 함을 알 수 있다. 거시적인 수준에서는 적극적인 장애인고용정책과 함께 장애인차별 금지법이 철저하게 이행되고 모니터링 되어야 하며, 지역사회 수준에서는 장애인에 대한 인식과 차별 적 행위의 변화를 유도하고, 지역사회 구성원이 사회적 지지의 자원이 될 수 있도록 촉진하는 것이 필요하다. 장애인서비스제공기관이나 장애인단체는 장애인 당사자의 장애정체감 강화에도 관심을 가 져야 할 것이다.
This study was made to see how the disabled people’s participating in the economic activities, social support and disability identity and discrimination experience affect on the social integration. The utilized data is the disabled people’s discrimination and experience survey(Lee Ick-Seop, et al., 2009) to analyze 531 disabled adults. The analytical result, social support and disability identity acted as the partial mediator in the process between their participating in the economic activities and social integration. The discrimination experience is shown to have the moderating effect in the process between their participating in the economic activities and social integration. Therefore, the social effort that is the basic premise of the disabled people’s independent living should be given in various levels. In the macroscopic level, the active employment policy of the disabled people and the Disability Discrimination Act should be thoroughly fulfilled and monitored. It is necessary to induce the understanding and discrimination change of the disabled people in the community level, and promote the member of community to be the social support resource. The disability service provider or disabled group should be interested in the disabled people’s intensifying disability identity.
