This study is a case study to examine how art therapy the influence on a mental anxiety of the
unmarried woman who a marriageable age. Study subject is unmarried woman of 29 years old who appeal for a mental anxiety. She has a lot of difficulties of social life because of disliking herself, lacking motivation and having very worry. The art therapy program cosisted of a total of 16 sessions, once or twice a week with each lasting 50 minutes. To examine therapeutic effect, analyzing changes anxiety behavioral modes step, the LMT(Landscape Montage Technique), the BAI(Beck Anxiety Inventory), the STAI-X-1(State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) projection tests were carried out to make a comparative analysis for the changes between pretest and posttest. The results of this study are as follows, First, art therapy shows an effect on reduction a anxiety through changes analysis of anxiety behavioral modes step. Second, art therapy shows an effect on reduction a anxiety in comparison with changes between pretest and posttest of the LMT. Third, art therapy shows an effect on reduction a anxiety in comparison with the score change between pretest and posttest of the BAI. Fourth, art therapy shows an effect on reduction a anxiety in comparison with the score change between pretest and posttest of the STAI-X-1. Therefore, according to the conclusion, art therapy is effective in reducing the a mental anxiety of the unmarried woman who a marriageable age.
