This thesis is to inquire into whether the PPAT(Person Picking an Apple from a Tree) response of early adult shows a difference by the levels of depression and self-efficacy. The subject was 196 early adults aged 20 to 40. The measurement tools were BDI(Beck Depression Inventory), the General Self-Efficacy Scale, PPAT. In case of PPAT, its FEATS(The Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale) and content scale were used to analyze the pictures. The results are as follows. Firstly, the difference in PPAT responses between the depressed group and the non-depressed group was examined out in color Fit among the formal elements. Secondly, the difference in PPAT responses between the group of high self-efficacy level and the group of low self-efficacy level was examined out in color Fit among the formal elements. Thirdly, the difference in the PPAT responses between the non-depressed, high self-efficacy group and the depressed, low self-efficacy group was examined out in color Fit among the formal elements. In conclusion, PPAT shows a partial difference by the levels of early adults depression and self-efficacy.
