한국 사회는 산업화에 따른 가족구조적 변화에 적절히 대처하지 못해 아직까지 전통 의식구조 및 가치관이 사회에 깊이 뿌리박고 있어 부부상호간의 갈등이 자주 일어 나고 있다. 결혼생활에서 야기되는 불필요한 갈등은 미연에 방지하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하지만 그렇다고 해서 건전한 부부관계 혹은 화목한 부부관계라 하여 부부간의 갈등이 없다는 것을 의미하는 것은 아니다. 즉 부부관계의 성공여부도 부부내적 혹은 부부외적 문제를 얼마나 잘 해결하느냐에 따라 결정할 수 있다(Fitzpatrick, 1988: Raush, Barry. Hertel & Swain, 1974). 부부갈등이 제대로 해결되어지지 않을 때는 심각한 문제가 발생하게 될 것이다. 일반적으로 남녀간에는 결혼생활과 부부관계에 대한 인지가 다르기 때문에 서로의 인지적 차이를 이해하고 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 부부들은 타협점을 찾는 반면, 서로의 문제에 대한 인지적 차이를 이해하지 못하고 자신의 입장만을 배우자에게 강요하는 부부들은 불합리한 방법들만 시도하다가 결국은 어느 쪽도 욕구충족을 채우지 못한 채 불만을 잠재적으로 쌓아가게 된다(최혜경, 박의순, 노치영, 1993).
The purpose of this study was designed to find Couple\'s Conflict Perception by the Kinetic Family Drawing. Discriminant analysis with kinetic family drawing and couple\' s conflict perception. For data analysis, it applied statistical methods, such as, Discriminant analysis. The result of this study was as follows : ① At the kinetic family drawing and couple\'s conflict perception, which belong to the projecting method, it is possible to distinguish the inner conflict perception. As a distinguishing variables, there showed highly as the order of such as, the first child\'s criteria for face, the lining at the top, the first child\'s criteria for eyes, the first child\'s orientation between figures, and spouse\' underlining individual figure, and that, other 20 variables that can be distinguishable variables for husband\'s inner conflict perception are showed. As for variables that can distinguish husband\'s outer conflict perception are showed highly as the order of such as, own’s number of barriers, own\'s criteria for figure nurturing, first child\'s criteria for eyes, spouse\' encapsulation, spouse\' underlining individual figures, and that other 21 variables are significant variables that can discriminate husband’s outer conflict perception are showed. ② As for variables that can distinguish wife\'s inner conflict perception are showed highly as the order of such as, first child’s criteria for face, spouse\' facial expression. own\'s criteria for activity, spouse\' criteria for body, spouse\' criteria for activity, and that, other 16 variables that can distinguishable wife\'s inner conflict perception are showed. As for variables that can distinguish wife\'s outer conf1ict perception are showed in the order of own\'s criteria for cooperation, the first child’s criteria for eyes, spouse\' underlining individual figures and spouse\' criteria for body‘ and that other 18 variables that can distinguish wife’s outer conflict perception.
